W. J. Nigh & Sons Limited is a family run business supplying a stock range in excess of 8000 lines throughout the UK and other European countries. Founded in 1903 as a postcard publisher, the company still has its publishing division plus a wholesale distribution business consisting of products from the Isle of Wight, the UK, the EU and the Far East.
We supply toys, beach goods, giftware, souvenirs, promotional merchandise, stationery, greeting cards, Christmas decorations, Christmas cards, Christmas novelties and toys, diaries, calendars, confectionery and we have the flexibility to source and supply many other products on request including bespoke souvenirs, postcards and personalised merchandise.
W. J. Nigh & Sons Limited are suppliers to a wide customer base including independent retailers, national retailers, major tourist attractions, the hotel trade, charity and club organisations, schools, internet businesses, mail order businesses, the catering trade and other wholesalers.

Our History
W J Nigh & Sons Limited was founded in 1903 by WILLIAM JAMES NIGH in the town of Ventnor on the south coast of the Isle of Wight. He started his business by publishing Isle of Wight postcards and distributing stationery products.
As the business developed, William was joined by his four sons and in the 1930’s the company began printing black and white photographic postcards which were sold on the Isle of Wight and the South of England.
As time progressed, souvenirs became an important addition to the business and the company originated many of today’s most popular Isle of Wight souvenir products (for example, the Six Wonders of the Isle of Wight). Over successive years, the range has been expanded to meet the high demand of its customers and today boasts a stock of over 8000 lines.
W. J. Nigh & Sons Limited is still privately owned and is currently operated by the fourth generation of the family (two brothers and a cousin), who continue to maintain the personal commitment of the past with an efficient, modern service and an ever-changing range of merchandise. Within the last generations involvement, the company has moved to a new purpose built warehouse facility, with offices and permanent fully air conditioned showrooms for customers to view the different ranges.
